Romance Writers of America Update
For several years, we’ve been pleased to be affiliated with the Romance Writers of America and offer a discount to fellow RWA members. We’ve enjoyed getting the opportunity to meet some of you at conventions and offer our services as rewards in contests hosted by local affiliates. However, due to the ongoing leadership challenges faced by the RWA, we have decided to end our affiliation with them.
As of June 1st, 2020, Joy Editing will no longer be offering an RWA discount or participating in any local contests. We’ll continue to follow the developments the RWA undergoes and wish their new leadership all the best in their continued efforts to connect romance writers and professionals.
We are always interested in connecting and networking with romance authors and other professionals working in romance publishing. If you’re a member of an organization you love, please let us know! We would love to hear about groups we may have missed.
